Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How early should I arrive for my first
appointment?
A: We ask that new patients arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their
scheduled time in order to fill out the necessary information and to
give the receptionist time to prepare your chart for the therapist.
Q: What should I bring with me for my first
appointment?
A: Please bring your prescription from your doctor for physical therapy,
referral information, billing information and/or insurance cards, any
doctor's reports or x-ray information that you think may be helpful for
the therapist to have.
You may be asked to change into a pair of shorts or a different top, which we can provide. If you are more comfortable, you may bring your own clothes to change into.
If you have been referred for pool therapy, always come prepared with a bathing suit and towel. You may wear a shirt and shorts instead of a bathing suit.
Q: Does my insurance cover Physical Therapy?
A: It is good to be familiar with your insurance benefits for medical
services before
you arrive for your appointment. You may visit our
Insurance page to check if we participate with your
insurance.
We will call to verify your specific benefits once we receive all your billing information at your first visit, however, a verification of benefits is not always a guarantee of payment.
